Today there are new 478 cases of COVID-19 cases in NSW.

It has been the 8th week since starting the lockdown on 26th June.

It is still extreme high cases.

Although the vaccination rates are getting quite high, everyone thinks that we can return normal life from the end of month.

Most people in Sydney are doing what the government is saying.

People are stay as home and refrain from unnecessary going out.

So, everyone including me does not understand why this is happening.

Of course, COVID-19 is infectious disease and has an incubation period.

Thus, it takes a while to appear the symptoms and people with COVID-19 transmitted without knowing in their community. It is a problematic.

I am a nurse, so I know this mechanism, but no one has experience of such pandemic.

We really realise that danger of infectious disease which can kills tons of people.

It may be said that more threatening than wars.

I read news paper yesterday which reported about the gap between the rich and the poor.

Now under the current lockdown, it is getting the larger gap.

In Sydney, it is said that the northern part is wealthy area, and the western part is low-paid area. Before the lockdown, there are twice income difference.

Moreover, the western part are bigger family sizes, and they are in crowded houses. This may cause of many hot spots are in the west and had hush restriction.

In the article, the most striking thing for me was the story of students who is expected to take HSC exam on October. HSC is high school certificate in NSW and kind of similar as the Common Test for University Admissions in Japan.

Students living in the western area are very stick restrictions and have to study in crowded house. They need compete with students in the different areas in the same exam which affects their future. I just felt unfairness from the article.

The poorer people are always vulnerable.

After this pangamic, the rich may become more richer and the poor may become poorer, which make me very miserable.

English is my second language, so you may find incorrect sentences.

It would be great help if you leave a comment for me.

Thank you for reading!
