I have a big problem.

As I mentioned yesterday, I have been gaining my weight due to the recent lockdown.

I gained five kg so far and this is the heaviest weight in my life. OMG!


I had something strange feeling when working out recently and I was not able to move easily as usual.

I took 500ml of my blood in the blood donation one week ago. Then, I thought that I am a little bit iron deficiency. But I guess the reason for tiring was not iron deficiency. Simply my body is too heavy to run.



So, I have decided to start a plan for losing my weight! 

I believe that there are only two things to care about for lose weight.


One is doing exercise. The another is limiting eating. 


Regarding exercise, I will start strength training in the evening. 

I used to go to a gym before the lockdown and use the machine for strength exercise.


I like to work out in the gym, but I do not really like doing strength exercise at home.

I think I lost my mascle because my husband said that my shape is different. (He is very kind and did not say “getting fat”.) 

I had a toned body, but now my body is expanding like a balloon!


Sadly, in my age, late 30’s, it is very easy to change a body shape too.

Anyway, I will increase time to work out.




Next thing to do is to change my diet.


To be honest, I did not care about eating, but there is a crucial difference after the lockdown. I ate evry three meals every day and had snacks.

No wonder, I gained weight!


When I work full time, I did not have enough time to eat lunch and dinner. 

It may be unhealthy, but people in the modern life eat too much.

Thus, I have decided to do a next plan, intermitted diet. 


Intermitted diet is the diet which has not eating time is 16 hours and eating time is only 8 hours a day.


Websites said that if we do not eat the certain period, our cells start using preserved energy in the cells. This is an idea of autophagy which is from Greek word meaning “self-eating”.


I heard the word “autophagy”, but I did not know the meaning. It is catabolic which I may learn it in University (because sounds familiar...).


I will start intermitted diet from today. I can eat from 10 am to 6 pm. 

Although I may feel hungry in the evening, I have a good strategy for this!

If I feel hungry, I will drink a glass of water and sleep!


Sleep is also very effective for huger because it regulates hormone of apatite.
